This is called the Eskimo Nebula; its a picture taken by the Hubble telescope in space. The Eskimo nebula has really complex clouds that are hard for astronomers to understand. 10,000 years ago, this was a star. Each orange filament is about one light year long. When I first asw this picture it reminded me of biology, like molecules forming from a mother molecule. It is similar because it is a nebula formed from a star that might make new stars.
